A video demonstrating the core gameplay and sequence programming of ReRave. ReRave is a “reaction based” game from Step Evolution.
Basic “tap” reaction notes are the highlight of this video. NOTE: ReRave contains several tap “types” and features not yet demonstrated.

ReRave will be making it’s way to the market in 2011!

ReRave is trademarked and PATENT PENDING.
Nice preview of what’s to come. I REALLY have to wonder what the other note types will be like now.
One thing I can’t help but notice though…assuming that red notes are quarter notes, is the BPM going at half speed than what I would be used to on a traditional rhythm game here?
Very Very Nice! I’m taking this game up to my local arcade. I’m way over here in CT and rarely get the good west coast stuff 🙂 Can’t wait to see more – keep up the good work.
Oh, I love the furniture in the house. My dream!
So you’re making an iOS version of rerave? What about Droid?
Thanks for the comments guys. The messages and feedback is just seems to be amazing for us! We highly appreciate the comments and questions.
@Jason : Yes indeed. Just wait until you see the other tap types and even how users are evaluated on them… (YES, we haven’t revealed this yet either) Good assessment of the BPM / rhythm notes. Because of the differences with this game we had to step up our “zoning” Confused yet? Don’t be! 😀 We also have a color differentiation for “half notes” … basically the equivalent of 2 quarter notes.
@PBase ReRave will first be available on the mobile platform so that everyone in the WORLD can get a taste of the game. No matter where you are, you’ll be able to play the game and enjoy it for hours! Amusement and “other version” will soon follow.
@Landon Yes, iOS is first to be released. We are predicting first quarter of 2011 and we seem to be AHEAD of schedule. YES! 😀 Android version? I think you can assured that we haven’t forgotten about all the DROIDs out there. You are likely to see a release IMMEDIATELY following iOS.
Good thing I have my iPad ready. Actually, I better confirm…is this going to be Universal, iPad only, or more for iPhone?
@Jason: All of the above! We predict that the iPad will be the premier way to enjoy the game… But iPhone and iPod will be the most portable and allow for instant “fun time” while on the go. We are also experimenting with AppleTV… We’ll see what happens! 😀
I do love this game so far. Hoping you reveal a planned boss song next. 😀 Couple of questions, though… those noteskin graphics we saw will become actual noteskins, right? Also, do you have a note type planned to deal with “jackhammer” situations? …and will we finally see STOP! 2 Go/Hyperspace/Enigma? XD
@Technosomnium – Thanks for your post Yes, you are correct. We will have multiple tap “skins” available for people. They won’t just be round circles… 😀
Without revealing too much more… let’s just say “YES” we have an alternate tap type to deal with multiple taps in the same area. So far it’s working very well with our Alpha software too!
AppleTV? How on earth would you control it like that?
But I’m glad you’re considering many different platforms… maybe some day we could see a DS/DSi/3DS release? (There wouldn’t be multitouch, though.)
