More colored, more fun. But that “new” mine note is strange.

I agree about most feedback with the “mine” graphic & concept change. I prefer the old terms for “mine” having been one of the innovators of this from ITG long ago 🙂
BUT
In terms of iDANCE play, the concept of “Mine” doesn’t work the same way. Players cannot get the SOUND or even the recognition/feedback of stepping on the mind as easily because of the environment of iDANCE gameplay.
This is the main reasoning for the term “no-step” and showing the FOOT icon in place of the mine. I think it’s a change that people will understand and it may still require the icon to be tweaked in later iDANCE versions etc. Give it time, I think you will see that it is a better solution for iDANCE.

Really, I think it’s an aesthetic choice when it boils down to it.
Nothing about mines gives you (or should give you) the idea that it will show an explosion graphic or noise. Granted, that is what all non-multiplayer dance games with mines (all two of them) do, but still.
