Back to 4…
EDIT : 06-24-2009: I’ve recently joined forces with Positive Gaming and their iDANCE product. Pump It Up Pro continues it’s production with the remaing PIUPRO team. I will continue to support PIU, Andamiro, and the PIU Pro team. My thanks goes out to all the players who have enjoyed Pump It Up Pro!
what?
and hahaha i’m not using safari version 525.19 or am I on Mac OS X
Four… arrows?
Oooo..Kyle is brewing up something =D
Can’t wait to see what is it.
Totally…. I sniff something big…………
*sniff*
Holy crap, Kyle! NO WAY!!
Back to 4 arrows….?
As much as I like Pump it Up, for the love of Christ plesae be a new 4 panel game.
boring
Four arrows PLZ….
Maybe it’s that iDance thing that he spoke of a while ago………..
If this does end up that this is a four panel game (or any dance game in that matter) how would this game do against ITG and it’s “customs”.
Sadly as much as I like to see Pump Pro 2 or any other dance game , due to market demands plus the fact that some arcades would rather hack their ITG Machines than buy any new dance game, it’s going to be hard for that game to be successful. The first Pro didn’t do as well due to this and future dance games are in risk as well due to the weaken arcade scene followed by R21/Hacks of ITG Machines.
But than again, Kyle could be talking about something else completely So Lets wait to see what is up before we all got nuts.
Sorry for grammer btw 🙁
This promises to be interesting, whatever it may be.
what the heck is idance brian? or anyone…. lol i only know of pump, ddr, and itg.
enigmaaaaaaaa plz D:
Lemme guess, DJMAX!!!!!!!!one!
I sure hope he and his team don’t move from Pro to yet another four panel dance game. I’ve already converted to five panels and I’m not sure I even want to go back to playing anything other than Pump. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing DDR and ITG and will always play them, but Pump has much more of a future to me.
Pro has had it rough from all sides of the community and I hate to see it fall apart so soon. It’s truly a great game and has so much room for improvement and growth. If Kyle and his team wish to move on from Pump then I support their decision 100%, but it doesn’t mean I’m not disappointed with their move. I suppose Andamiro has the final say as to what the future of Pro is and if I my judgment is right, it’s not looking too good.

Sadly I agree with Crevolous, there has been alot of signs that Pro could be finished. My friend Steven who brought the machine from Kyle had inform me that the Pump It Up games as a whole (Both “Classic” and Pro”) are not doing very well in compairing with the four panel games.
The Edmonton Community here is a Prime Example, only a small hand of them played the Pump Machine now that the ITG Machine is in the same building as his machine. Most of them prefer to play the ITG Machine, Steven was planning to get Pro but due to the cost of the kit plus the fact that he didn’t make alot of money of the Pump NX, he’s unable now and he is now leading towards selling his machine.
It’s the same with alot of NA Communities sadly. Pump can’t seem to have a edge of ITG. Which is why I am leading towards Kyle and Co dropping Pro for the new four panel game.
There is something else as well.

The new game could be none other than the arcade version of IDance.
Having Kyle and Foy work on the arcade version of IDance, a new four panel game that is close to ITG, would make sense.
If this is the case, I do hope IDance AC has many new stuff and many strong features…..cause your biggest competitor is going to be ITG due to the elements such as R21 for example.
If it is indeed iDance, then I wonder how distribution will work in the US. If I recall correctly, I remember reading that iDance was only “official” for European countries, but I could be totally wrong
so, from the sound of things, it appears that Kyle’s jumped back into production work for the 4-panel style of dance games, which he couldn’t do if he was working with RoXoR, as they’re not allowed to make a dance game anymore, so he’s working with PG instead, but i can see that he’s pretty much jumping in now, rather than at the beginning of iDance’s development, just to ensure that it wouldn’t be a wasted effort first…
very clever of you, Kyle… so 4-panel dancing games aren’t quite as stale as you previously thought, i assume?
Happy to hear that you’re on board with iDance 😀 It has looked very promising from the start and I’ll be happy to see it progress further!
But, now maybe you could answer this question for me, lol. I’ve been drooling forever over the PG Impact Arcade Dance Platform and have looked everywhere for information about it. When do you think it will be available for purchase and for how much?
Thanks Kyle! :D,
Josh
what kind of work will you do for them?
will it be stepcharts perhaps?
This is some great news! I just hope idance can get to the united states somehow 🙁
I hope this does come to U.S. Arcades sometime in the future. Also, I myself would like to know how i can obtain one of those nice Arcade dance platforms.
