I’m very happy to share with you a remix that was emailed to me from DJ Deadly. He’s been kind enough to share his mash-up mix of Inspector K’s Infection and KaW’s Kagami. I’ve added the mix to the remix section available in the downloads section on the site. Thank you for supplying us with your mix DJ Deadly! 🙂
I’m kind of attached to the 8-bit July :P. It’s nice to see other people doing stuff like this. The remixes sound cool though. I really like this one of Infektami a lot. Now a stepfile is needed to top it off, lol!
These songs are great to listen to by themselves, but in my opinion, I just feel like I need to dance to them and so stepfiles are needed for that since I can’t really dance w/o any arrows.
:/
I think this mix could be better. I can hear some elements of Kagami in the mix, but it sounds more like they just took Infection and threw manipulated parts of Kagami over it. If there was an Inspector K / KaW crossover to do something like this for real, I think that would be better, perhaps an “Infection (Immunity Mix)” or a “Kagami ~Speed Rave Mix~”. I hope something along those parameters could be created. Kyle, would you consider it?
Hey Impulse –
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll look into it in the future and add it to my growing list of things to accomplish! 🙂
I think this was really cool, but i agree with impulse, needs a bit more kagami in it, but it was still really good
Infektami for Pro 2 🙂
=(
as a response to impluse.0000:
Better yet, mashup of Kagami and RED ZONE from IIDX
SAY SPEED RAVE!
I think it sounds great. Yeah, you could put more Kagami in it, but it would throw off the Inspector K sound of it. Its perfect as it is.
It should have been a MIX of Kagami and Infection, which would require an equal mixture of both songs. This mix here sounds more like one (Infection) with parts of the other (Kagami), just adjusted for tempo and mixed over the first. It just doesn’t really work that way.
There are no requirements for mixes, lol (Or any techno for that matter). Its free to be transformed as the artist wants it. Thats the beauty of this type of music anyway.
Would you mind if FFR made steps and placed this on the game?
